Our final day in Thailand happened to fall on Easter Sunday. What a glorious way to celebrate our risen King with our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ at Life Impact! We spent our morning worshipping God together through song. We loved seeing how the young adults led worship in one set and then the youth were leading with the help of some adults in the next. They are raising up the next generation of leaders to shake heaven and earth through worship! We then broke up into groups for Sunday service and learned about what the powerful impact Easter has on each of us who believe in His death, burial, and resurrection. The kids enjoyed an Easter egg hunt and then families joined together for Easter egg dying.
Parting is such sweet sorrow, but we know that we will see each other again. How is it that out of a 27 member team, not one person got sick or had to miss a day while on the mission field? Even the mosquitoes and heat were not too bad (praisssse!). There was so much grace over us and we are so thankful to God for opening the door for T27 to come on this mission trip. There were so many signs before, during, and after the trip that confirmed that God was with us, all 27 of us. Even on the flight home, Elisha was watching a documentary on Asia and quickly noticed something on a tree. How perfect is that?
We are so blessed by the ministry of Life Impact. God is using them to truly change the world, one person at a time. From the house parents, to the staff, and of course the amazing children. We see God through each of them. Thank you, Lord for being with us. Thank you for showing us how your hand is upon Life Impact and Thailand, and that You shine your light brightest in the darkest of places. There is no place you will not go for the sake of the one who is lost. There is no distance too far, no pit too deep, no cup with water and food coloring that has “too much sin”, as one person observed 🙂 .
You are the God who loves past the pain and difficulties. Thank you for showing us your transformational love and a true glimpse of heaven at the Promised Land. You are a good, good Father.
How great is the goodness
you have stored up for those who fear you.
You lavish it on those who come to you for protection,
blessing them before the watching world.
