Missions Partners: Su and Christina

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Bio/Overview:

Su, Christina, and their five children are missionaries in Bangkok, Thailand and Southeast Asia. Su, formerly an electrical engineer, and Christina, formerly a high school math teacher, were called to Thailand by God in 2016. Married for 18 years, they spent three years in South Hamilton, MA, where Su graduated summa cum laude from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary with an MDiv in May 2019.

The family then moved to Southwest Florida where Su served as an Assistant Pastor at First Presbyterian Church of Bonita Springs. They moved to Bangkok, Thailand in July 2022. The family has transitioned well and Su and Christina are currently engaged in full-time language studies. In Bangkok, they plan to work with local pastors and church planters to spur a Spirit-inspired and empowered church-planting movement in a city with more than 10 million people and less than 500 churches. Su may also work with the local seminaries and Christina may be involved with Spiritual Mentoring and Direction with local women.Through their call, their prayer is that people from the Kingdom of Thailand will fill the Kingdom of heaven. The Kim family is grateful for your faithfulness in prayer and partnership for God’s Kingdom and His glory.

How to partner with Su and Christina:

  • Pray for the Spirit to move mightily in Thailand! After more than 190 years of Protestant Missionary efforts, approximately 1% of its population is Christian. Pray that the many years of faithful ministry will result in a harvest of souls!

  • Starting in Summer 2023, after a year of cultural adjustment and language learning, they would be open to hosting short-term teams to visit them and their missionary work.
