Who We Are

We are the House of Prayer for Everyone. H.O.P.E. Church is a local church made up of house churches that fulfills all the core purposes of church (worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry, and missions) built on God’s love. We meet on Fridays weekly in house churches throughout the DC Metro area and come together for corporate worship on Sundays at the Gathering Place in Clarksville, MD.

Our vision is to build a biblically functioning community for the glory of God. We desire to be a place where all people can freely come and meet with God. We abide by the core values of seeking intimacy with God through worship and prayer, sharing Jesus’ love with those who do not yet know Him, and building community and disciples through house churches. 

We are a part of a Presbyterian denomination called ECO: A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians.
