The Coming of the Son of Man
Today’s service started with a testimony from Gabriel, one of our Chosen Youth members, who shared stories of God’s goodness from an outreach in Baltimore yesterday.
Pastor Q reflects on Luke 21 today, emphasizing the importance of understanding Jesus' prophecy regarding the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem as both a judgment for rejecting Him and the dawning of a new era centered on Christ rather than the temple. He highlights that Jesus possesses foreknowledge, prophecy, and sovereignty, assuring that just as the temple's destruction occurred as foretold, so too will Christ's return. Pastor Q stresses the need for believers to be prepared for Christ's coming by examining their faith, relationships, and readiness to share the Gospel. He encourages a balance between immediate preparation for Christ’s return and long-term living in faith, urging us to reflect on what we might regret if Christ were to return today. Ultimately, he calls on everyone to live in light of eternity, acknowledging the certainty of Christ’s return and the impending judgment that will follow.
