Pastor Kyu Kim reminds us of why Jesus cleared out the temple: to restore it to a house of prayer. Jesus cast out everything that exploited and hindered His people. We are reminded that from the beginning, HOPE church invests in each generation so that they may rise up to love God.

Pastor Kyu Kim presents the Christmas story and teaches how heaven needed to come to earth. Jesus came into the world to heal brokenness. The joyous announcement was not made to the elite but rather to the overlooked. This is how God chose to reveal Himself. This is God’s character.

Pastor Kyu Kim speaks on living a life of greatness. Jesus taught that to be great one must follow Him, the Jesus who came to serve and to give His life for our sake. How do we live out this life of greatness?

Pastor Kyu Kim teaches how Jesus unveiled himself to show His true form in all its glory. God chose to put on our form that we may be able to relate and connect to Him and connect. In a life walking with Jesus we transform to become more like Him as a response. How amazing is the scandal of grace!

Missionary Michael Brown from YWAM-Kona exhorts us: "Let's never move past the gospel." We are about Jesus and our purpose is glorify Jesus. Let us focus on the gospel and not lose our passion in order to keep walking with Him.
Pastor Kyu Kim asks "Are you good at complaining or are you good at giving thanks?" The cleansing of the lepers demonstrates how our good and gracious God gives blessings, but it is through giving thanks that we can grow our relationship with Him.

Pastor Kyu Kim teaches on the new kingdom message to follow Jesus. People naturally want blessing without the cost of commitment. Christ beckons us to fully surrender, listen, and obey in order to step into all God has for us. "New revelation demands people's response."
Scripture: Mark 8:34-38
Pastor Kyu Kim focuses on Jesus’ question: “Who do you say that I am?" His disciples had preconceived notions of Jesus’ mission on earth and had difficulty trusting and accepting God's way. His glory, blessing, and power is revealed through suffering. Jesus prevailed on the cross and as His followers we trust that His way is best and embrace the sufferings we must face in our own walk.

Pastor Kyu Kim teaches how the Gospel of Mark emphasizes how Jesus walked on the water to come to the disciples. It is a powerful image of how God comes to us in the midst of our storm and beckons us to take action on our faith. We take action not based on our abilities but because God wants us to draw close in the midst of our proverbial storms. "Faith is taking us to where God is and what He does."

Pastor Mimi Kim highlights four revelations based on Hebrews 11:23-27. 1) REFUSE to be defined by others. 2) CHOOSE short-term pain for long-term gain. 3) REGARD God's values and not the world's 4) PERSEVERE and not fear.

Pastor Kyu Kim teaches on when Jesus miraculously fed the five thousand. He gives more than enough in both quality and quantity. Pastor Kyu urges us not to lose sight of what it's all for. Rather than focusing on the provision, we are to focus on the God who provided, the God who deeply cares for us.

Pastor Mimi Kim taught on our attitudes toward prayer. Jesus told many parables about prayer and made it clear that we are to pray persistently and come boldly before the throne. Because of Jesus, we can and we ought. Let us PUSH: Pray Until Something Happens.

Pastor Kyu Kim explains how Jesus returns to His hometown and was persecuted and rejected because of the people's unbelief. Faith is powerful, but so is unbelief. Faith is going before God despite our feelings and circumstances. The answer to unbelief is going before Him, drawing near to Him, and knowing Him.

Pastor Kyu Kim teaches how God turns despair into joyous laughter. Oftentimes we think that God delays when we need a miracle most, and when we are in great need of Him. But God's timing is intentional and beneficial. The wait strengthens our faith and enables us to respond to difficult circumstances without doubt.

Pastor Kyu Kim teaches about the woman who received full healing from reaching out and touching Jesus' garment. Her touch stood out from the rest because she believed Jesus was who He claimed. And so Jesus took the opportunity to reveal Himself as one who would stop for the outcast and restore not only her body but her value as well.

Pastor Mimi Kim brings a message of encouragement as she shares the story of Paul. We as Christians should remember that discouragement cannot stop the work of God. Pastor Mimi reminds us of the importance of partnering with supportive friends, focusing on what God is doing rather than the circumstances, and remembering all of God's promises over your life.

Pastor Kyu Kim shows us who Jesus is in the midst of a storm. Though trouble may come our way, God is there and He loves us. In a "design dilemma" God uses storms in our lives to give us a greater glimpse of who He is and how He is for us.

Pastor Kyu Kim teaches on the faith of the Canaanite woman in Matthew 15:21-28. Her desperate faith to go before Jesus compelled Him, although He was only called to the Israelites, to change His mind and bless her. God is moved by our faith and desperate prayers and He will shift the course of history.

Pastor Young Kim preaches on what Jesus saw as the greatest faith. It requires intimacy and relationship with God to see Him at work and not just a head knowledge that He's able. "The greatest faith is when we see God moving, even if we don't want to, we say Yes, Lord!"

Pastor Kyu Kim goes through the life examples of Barnabas and how he encouraged others into their calling and identity. We may not be the most qualified to help out, but our presence and the attitude of "I'm here for you and you're doing great" can be the Spirit's encouragement for others.

Pastor Mimi Kim teaches about the maternal qualities of God's love for His children. Mothers often have the ferocious instinct to look out for their children with tenacity and precision.
