Jesus Wept

Pastor Q's sermon on Luke 19:41-48 highlights Jesus' deep sorrow for Jerusalem. As Jesus approaches the city, he weeps loudly, foreseeing its impending destruction due to its failure to recognize the time of God's visitation. This intense grief contrasts with the brief, quiet tears he shed at Lazarus' tomb. Pastor Q emphasizes the seriousness of Jesus' lament, noting that the people missed the opportunity for peace and salvation. He draws a parallel between Jerusalem's rejection of Jesus and our own need to recognize and accept God's presence and guidance in our lives. The sermon concludes with a call for Christians to see and care for the lost as Jesus did, urging prayer for those who have yet to know Christ.
